We need another war
The current one ain't goin so well, and our sitting President is a self-proclaimed "war-president", and it seems the prevailing trend, at least for the past 20 years, is that war is good for our economy, so the best kind of war to have is one that is against an abstract principle (War on Drugs, War on Terror), thus don't you think we should start another one?

Ahh wouldn't that be sweet. You can bet we won't be getting one any time soon though.

Yeah, we do need that war! We just finally watched Inconvenient Truth, and it's sad to think it hasn't provoked more widespread change.
And a war on global warming could indeed be great for our economy; too bad so many people are too short-sighted to see that.
We've been happy to do something positive lately, by getting low-e windows & better insulation. That's a win-win; we're more comfortable, and pay less for cooling/heating, and are helping the environment by using the A/C & heater less.
